What is Love
But the flicker of a candle
The bubbles on the sea
The memory left behind
What is Love
But freedom given freely
Openness honestly shared
What is Love
But the hope they won't forget you
That they will know you did your best
That they will know you cared
Wlhat is Love
I wish I could
Express the way it feels
the ecstasy, the rhapsody, the permeating joy
What is Love
a blessed face,
a smile, a song,
a cherished voice,
or simply, "It's a boy!"
What is Love
but treasured bliss
a fleeting moment
out of sight but never gone
What is Love
but to know thy Self
to be at peace
to live as one
with God.
